What is checked
- A government ID, front and back
- A photograph of her holding it, so the face matches
- That she is over 18
- That the photographs on her profile are of her
Who checks it
A reviewer — a person, not only software — reads every application. Documents are stored encrypted, only the reviewer can read them, and they are never shown to clients.

What verification does not mean
Verification proves she is who she says she is. It is not a background check or a guarantee of behaviour, which is why the other safeguards exist: a public first meeting, a written plan and either side's right to end the day.
Clients are checked too
She is the one meeting a stranger, so clients confirm their email, accept the rules and may be asked for more before an introduction.
Common questions
Do you run criminal background checks?
No. We verify identity, and we say so plainly rather than promise what we do not do.
Can I see her documents?
No. Only the reviewer sees them. You see the profile she wrote and approved.
What if someone different turns up?
End the meeting and report it. A person reads every report, usually within a day.
