Real life, in Amsterdam

Rent a girlfriend in Amsterdam for a day

Looking to rent a girlfriend in Amsterdam? Rent Girlfriend books a verified woman in Netherlands for one full day in real life — a family lunch, a holiday visit, a day exploring the city — strictly platonic, with the plan agreed in writing before you meet.

Where to meet in Amsterdam

  • the Jordaan
  • De Pijp
  • Oud-West
  • the Eastern Docklands

How the day runs

Amsterdam eats early — between half past six and eight — and many kitchens stop taking orders by half past nine, which catches visitors out. Dress is casual and low-key. Conversation is direct, and kindly meant even when it does not sound it. A day here is best spent on foot: canals, a museum, a long lunch, a brown café when the weather turns.

Getting around

The city is small enough to walk, with trams and the metro for longer hops and late services. Locals cycle everywhere, and if you are on foot, remember that bikes have the right of way in practice as well as on paper — especially on the narrow canal streets.

When Amsterdam is busiest

April to September is the easy half of the year. Tulip season peaks in April, and King's Day at the end of the month fills the whole city with orange and parties. Winter is dark and damp but suits a slow day of museums and cafés. Christmas and Sinterklaas in early December are the family occasions.

Questions about Amsterdam

Where should we start the day?

The Jordaan or De Pijp: walkable, full of small cafés and a comfortable distance from the crowds around Centraal station.

What if the day runs into the evening?

Plan dinner early or book a later kitchen in advance — many restaurants stop serving at half past nine. It is worth deciding when you agree the plan.

Is King's Day a good day to book?

Only if the party is the point. On King's Day, at the end of April, the whole city is out, trams are rerouted and a quiet family day is hard to find. Any other spring day is easier.

Strictly platonic, and written down

Every rental is one day, planned with you and agreed in writing before you meet. Nothing romantic or physical is part of it, and either of you can end the day.
