How a plan helps
- You know where you meet, when you arrive and when the day ends
- She knows the names and the subjects to avoid
- Arriving with someone takes away the hardest minute
- Either of you can end the day if it is too much
What to tell us
Only what helps: that you would like a quieter companion, a shorter visit inside the day, or a break built into the plan. You do not have to explain why.

What it is not
A rental day is not treatment for anxiety, and a companion is not a counsellor. If anxiety is shaping your life, a professional is the right person to talk to.
Common questions
Will she understand if I need a break?
Yes. Build it into the plan, or simply tell her on the day.
Can we meet briefly before the family arrives?
Every day starts with a public meeting — make it a longer coffee if it helps.
Can I book the same companion again?
Yes, if she is free and you are both comfortable; familiarity helps.
